I am going to install a new rule that is EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. There will NO LONGER be toleration of unkind comments made about or twards others. As one of our members stated to me that his mother taught him it's very simple - if you can't say something nice - don't say anything at all. Granted there may be times on this forum where someone is not caring for thier gliders properly or there may be areas where all do not see eye to eye on certian issues, but overall unkindness in general is now no longer permitted on this forum. There is a way to communicate with someone without being unkind or rude to others - the whole point of this forum is to learn about, chat about, share pictures of and brag about gliders - to advertise products and enjoy the company of others who share our passion for our babies!
So any and all negative posts about people will immediately be deleted, and anyone that is reported or seen purposely putting anyone else down, or brow beating another member of this forum for doing something that they weren't aware was inncorrect regarding thier gliders will be immediately banned. This is in order to protect the forums members and to make the forum a place where people feel safe about asking questions regarding thier gliders without fear of being unneccessarily chastized. Of course if this is a first offense or it was a simple misunderstanding such action will not be taken, however I feel this is the best thing for this forum and all the members involved. I thought stating that the golden rule was to be followed would be enough, but it has become apparent that some members on here only joined with one agenda - to trash others. This will no longer be tolerated!!- After all we are no longer in high school - lets end the high school drama shall we?
If someone has a complaint regarding a product bought from a member of this forum please inform me and I will pass the information along to the merchant giving that person a chance to rectify the problem with said product. Please do not post negative feedback regarding any items bought from this forum - I feel that every merchant should first have the opportunity to correct any issues someone may have regarding thier product in private.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this new policy feel free to send me a PM regarding this - DO NOT make a public post regarding it if you have an issue with the new rule. I will be happy to privately address any issues you may have regarding your feelings about this new rule, but there is no need to publicly bash this new policy - again I only feel I am doing what is best for the forum in general and all those who are members here.
